It’s almost a year since Table Mountain was voted in as a New7Wonders of Nature finalist, and in a matter of days it will be officially inaugurated. The big day is Sunday, December 2 2012 – definitely a date to circle on your calendar!
Now that the dust has settled, everything is back to a normal pace and the excitement has died down (well, kind of!) it’s time to look back, take stock and thank everyone involved.
Celebrations erupted at the V&A Waterfront tonight (Friday November 11) as Table Mountain was named a New 7 Wonder of Nature following a three year battle in the race to choose the world’s seven most wonderful natural sites.
The day has arrived. Voting for the New7Wonders of Nature is now officially closed – we wait with bated breath to find out whether Table Mountain has made it to the top seven!
