On Vote for Table Mountain Thursday, 7 July 2011, WWE Smackdown superstar Justin Gabriel came to the summit of Table Mountain with a crew from e.tv – he was so moved by being back on Cape Town’s famous mountain that he immediately agreed to become a celebrity ambassador for our New7Wonders of Nature campaign!
Did you know? Justin Gabriel, real name Paul Lloyd, was raised in Cape Town. Justin is joining Table Mountain’s slew of celebrity ambassadors, but he’s definitely our strongest supporter yet.
He said Table Mountain is his “favourite place on the planet”. Ours too – gosh, we have so much in common! Check out the video, taken on Table Mountain, where he says: “Go to www.votefortablemountain.com – do it now!” Yes sir!
Justin and his WWE cohorts were in South Africa for a whirlwind wrestling tour. They visited Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban ... but we think they loved Cape Town best.
Vote for Table Mountain campaign manager Fiona Furey showed Justin the “Flying Fist of Furey”!
